DairyDoo -- our original high carbon compost used for light amending in flower pots, raised beds, vegetable gardens, and containers alike. High carbon means that the compost is not just composted leaves, and yard waste. It is an actual formulated designer compost that carries nutrient, not just making it look good, but giving your soils what they need to be healthy and happy. We use dairy manure as the nucleus of this compost. DairyDoo is made in long windrows that have to reach 140 degrees for a period of time. This kills most all weed seeds, and makes it qualify to be used in organic production. We are taking raw manure and turning it into high quality compost. which means we are containing all the microbiology. When the consumers applies DairyDoo into their soil the microbiology will release and go to work to make a healthy soil. This makes all the organisms in that soil work together to provide food for the plant/lawn. If the plants a feed, they look healthy, and taste better when you harvest. There is no odor in DairyDoo, and it looks like rich soil. DairyDoo contains a lot of microbiology (good bugs) and fungi that will make your garden thrive the way nature intended. DairyDoo is the stem of every single mix that Morgan Composting Inc makes. It provides a good medium for all potting mixes, and has been around long enough for us to do testing that shows the goodness. IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR DIRECT PLANTINGS!

Just remember, a little bit of DairyDoo goes a long way.
Tree and Shrub Mix is just like it sounds, it’s for trees and shrubs. This mix is 30 % DairyDoo and 10 % poultry compost, so its very high in compost. This mix also has Tennessee Brown Rock Phosphate and Gypsum, which are good for healing in trees. This makes it ideal for any type of trees and shrub. Do not plant bare roots in this mix. For bare root use Outdoor Container Mix 301. “Bare Root” means a new tree seedling. Nurseries have found that the success rate of a tree or shrub living is a lot higher if they send out a bag of tree and shrub mix. Which ultimately makes the nursery look great when the tree or shrub does wonderful. We don’t want to make a one time sale, we want a customer for life. This is a product that will work. Place tree or shrub in hole and fill the remainder of the hole with tree and shrub mix.
Seed Starter 101 is just for starting seeds! Make sure you water product thoroughly. Plant seed directly in Seed Starer 101. Fill tray with Seed Stater 101, and place seeds in as deep as the seed package recommends. Keep planted seeds warm until the weather is warm enough to go outside. SeedStarter 101 will provide seedlings with enough nutrient for up to 6 weeks. (If the consumer needs transplant mix for flowers or delicate plants use 201 if they need transplant mix for vegetable plants transplant into 301) Seed Starter 101 has the right amount of DairyDoo and worm casting for germinating seeds. It also has coconut coir to help hold water and a variety of other ingredients to help start a healthy plant. Your seed can only be as good as your soil.
Indoor Potting Soil 201 This potting soil is used for indoor pots, hanging baskets etc. It is great for anyone that wants to fill a pot because it needs some more dirt. It is also good for indoor transplanting. Maybe the customer just wants to move the plant to a bigger pot. This mix is packed full of and microbiology, which will provide transplants, and young plants with all the beneficial organisms needed to survive. It holds the water real well because there are coconut fibers that retain the water. This is good if your customer ever goes on vacation, or forgets to water often. Nutrient load will last for quite sometime. Indoor Potting Soil 201 works well for transplants, or for light amendment in the indoor containers. The key differences in our potting soils, and every other type is that we make a mix that is not full of fillers like sphagnum peat, perlite, and vermiculite, but good biological stimulants like DairyDoo, Worm Castings, Feather Meal, Meat and Bone Meal etc. In other words our Seed Starter 101, Indoor Potting Soil 201, and Container Mix 301 has food in the mixes for your plant roots not just filler. These are products that will biologically breakdown food in your soil for the plants to feed from. Transplant any type of flowering plant into Indoor Potting Soil 201.
Outdoor Container Mix 301 This is a mix for outdoor containers. It works good for establishing new beds, amending old beds that need a lot of filling, transplanting vegetables or fruits into, or just transferring plants into larger containers. This is a mix that can be directly planted into. It contains DairyDoo and Worm Castings to stabilize all the microbiology, and gets plants’ roots established. It has enough nutrients to carry heavy feeders, like tomatoes, and yet small plants because it is biologically diverse. The nutrient load is a timed release to extend through the growing season. This also means there is little to no risk of being to “hot” for smaller plants. Extra nutrient was added because outdoor plantings tend to need a little more boost throughout the growing season because of bearing fruit and vegetables, or adds stability to flowers by providing more readily digestible food. Every type of nutrient fertilizer that is in Outdoor Container Mix 301 is time released to help you not need to foliate, or use spray fertilizers. It is a good all around mix for flowers and vegetables.
